A certified DBE/MBE/SBE in the state of Texas, M&D Industries is a foundation drilling company specializing in the installation of drilled piers. With over 25 years experience, knowledgeable staff and state of the art equipment, M&D has secured and completed numerous projects for the Texas Department of Transportation, the utility industry, and many others.

SERVICES
ROCK DRILLING
When it comes to drilling through rock, the most important aspect is the correct tool. All M&D rock augers, core barrels and all other rock drilling related equipment is custom built to our high quality specifications. This allows us to achieve greater penetration rates which in turn results in a faster completion date.
CASED DRILLING
This type of drilling requires the use of casing (sleeve) method which includes surface, temporary and permanent casing; or, a combination of all three. With over 100 pieces of casing ranging in a variety of diameters and lengths in our yard, we are confident we either have it or can get (usually within 24 hours) the casing required for any project.
SLURRY DRILLING
This method of drilling is typically utilized in areas where a high water table and unstable soil conditions exist.
We have over 20 years experience in the slurry displaced method of drilling and own all necessary equipment and resources related to it including:

SPECIALTY DRILLING
M&D understands that not all drill shafts are created equal. Not only do we have the equipment, but we possess the skills to complete many challenging projects including those that may require specialty drilling, limited and / or tight access.
OPEN HOLE DRILLING
Otherwise known as “dry drilling” this type of drilling method is typically the easiest and quickest method of foundation drilling.

The Cross of Tomball
M&D had the privilege of drilling the foundation for the "Cross of Tomball" in 2017. The Cross stands at 125 foot tall, and its foundation is 96" in diameter and 55 foot deep. The Cross is located near the intersection of SH 99 and SH 249 in Tomball, TX. M&D worked with Paula Whitaker, who donated the Cross in memory of her son, Ryan Whitaker, but more importantly, to remind all who see it, of the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
